Technologies that Mean Business

Business Technologies are changing the way we work, live and do business. From being at the forefront of a fundamental shift in the way companies obtain software and computing capacity, Business Technologies are now allowing enterprises to apply the flip side of Moore's law: from providing ever-increasing performance at a particular price to providing a particular level of performance at an ever-lower price.

Centered on the theme Shaping Your Enterprise In a Post Crisis World, the second edition of Saltmarch Media's annual Business Technology Summit, features a convergence of technologies that are enabling organizations to benefit from the flip side of Moore's law and do the same for less.

Tracks at Business Technology Summit 2009

The 2009 edition of Saltmarch Media's Business Technology Summit, centered around the theme "Shaping Your Enterprise In a Post-Crisis World", features a convergence of six forward looking co-located tracks that have been identified as the power team for Workhorse IT: SOA & Web Services, Cloud Computing, Enterprise Content Management (ECM) & Storage, Virtualisation, Information Security and Business Intelligence. These six tracks offer complimentary synergistic for a robust IT infrastructure that no IT decision-maker, manager, architect or professional can afford to ignore in their quest for business technology success.

Conference Chair

The job of the conference chair is to put together a program that attracts and informs the attendees. Many submissions in a category indicates a lot of interest in presenting on a particular topic, not necessarily a lot of interest in hearing about a topic. In the end, therefore, the conference is for the attendees, not the presenters. Thus the program chair will, in an effort to create a balanced and exciting program, arrange for speakers to present on particular topics. That is their job.

Advisory Board

This is a committee of distinguished executives, seasoned industry professionals, and academia whose expertise spans the entire business technology gamut. They will assist the program chair to ensure the quality of the content provided to attendees is high-level, relevant, and timely. Their dedication is critical to the success of the summit. The summit committee would like to thank them for their service to this conference.
